Saturday 28th may 2011 during the San Marino Dog Show several dogs died due to a strong poisoning. One was a small dalmatian puppy!
The San Marino Kennel Club knew that lately there had been several other cases of poisoned dogs in the same area and warned the expositors only with a panel posted in a couple of spots.
They did not change the place of the show, they did not prepare an efficient and quick veterinary service and at first they did not even want to cancel it.
It was only after the expositors' strong protest that the event was cancelled.
We think that the Kennel Club of San Marino was ineffective and is co-responsible for those dogs' death, and we ask the FCI to revoke the CACIB to the San Marino Dog Show as soon as possible. Effectively, the San Marino Kennel Club showed its inability to handle an International Dog Show with so many entered dogs and people.
This is the least sanction to a tragedy that could have been avoided.

oh nou ja, vond het beter in hond en leed, had het daarom niet gezien, maar ja in shows kan ook

ik vraag me trouwens af of het gif was dat de gemeente oid heeft gestrooid ivm onkruid of ongedierte of dat er iemand was die bewust op honden vergiftigen uit was, iig diep en diep triest dat het zo ver is gekomen en dat ze dus die show door hebben laten gaan ondanks dat ze het wisten
